Observation #4

site: behind my house fourty acres away
Time: 5:45

date: may 15, 2008

weather: warm, little clouds, clear outside

temperature: 67

soil: completely dry no more snow.

In my site yesterday, the water is not really flowing any faster and the grass is still growing greener and longer. The ducks and geese moved off and more flew over the river and just kept on going. I havent gone fishing in a while so I dont know if the fish are out any more, or just the same as it has been. In my area there is a whole bunch of animals, and that makes up a big variety of biodyversity. The reasons that the animals can live there, is that there is so much water and food variety.

Good connection made between the growth of plant life and the spreading of animal feces, which can be used as fertilizer! Keep getting even more specific with your observations. What food sources exactly are there in your area that allow for this biodiveristy. Does the variety of plant life then increase the variey of herbivores? What then happens to the biodversity of carnicores?
